The Club
Swindon Manor Indoor Bowls Club has was born out of Swindon Oasis Indoor Bowls Club. In 2012 Swindon Borough Council sold the management of the Oasis Leisure Centre for redevelopment. It was decided that indoor bowls did not feature in the new Oasis. The committee of the Oasis bowls, along with the Council looked for a new home for the bowls club. After a lot of work from both parties a home was found and modified to fit 4 rinks in a unit on Cheney Manor Industrial site. Hence the new name of Swindon Manor IBC which began life in its new home in October 2012.
